TheTrail
In 1991, Far and Wide emerged to fulfil the need for a professionally managed outdoor education centre within Zimbabwe. From humble origins, it has grown into a highly regarded mountain and education hub, delivering impactful leadership courses, team-building experiences, personal development programs, essential skills training, and vital conservation initiatives.
After countless years immersed in mountain exploration and adventure, Bernie embarked on a personal mission: to build, map, and construct a hiking trail echoing the quality of world-renowned paths. This trail meticulously weaves through the mountains' diverse tapestry, from lush montane forests to sweeping grasslands, alongside vibrant riparian zones, and culminates in awe-inspiring mountain vistas, all interconnected by the lifeblood of streams and rivers that have carved this majestic terrain.
